Wonderful captures of the pipit Sindri! The perch in #1 is AWESOME! The bg color matches the subject perfectly. :)
Top quality as usual, Sindri.

Love the first image. I find the second to be oversharpened and the lighting is very harsh. Thanx for sharing. Always nice looking at your images.

Hi Sindri,
two nice captures, especially # 1, beautiful composition, sharp, nice bokeh.
How much do you sharpen you shots, do you unsharp mask or just sharpen in certain areas?
Regards,
Clare

I use USM...but try not to overdo it. Ahemmm....that said...in this case I must admit I used to much on the second shot as tomico rightly pointed out. ;-)a

You are right about the second image. It was taken under very harsh sunlight and that adds to the effect of the USM...and it is over sharpened. ;-)a Still I like the pose since the Meadow Pipit has spread its tail and is just about to take off.

C&C are always welcomed.

Best regards

Sindri

It seems the general consensus is the first is excellent on all counts and I will have to concur. Gorgeous.

Very nice, Sindri. The Pipit looks quite majestic in the first shot.
