So, are there other tele converters that fit the G1? Any of the Nikon lenses? Does Leica make a tele converter?
I have been looking for the Olympus b-300...it's not available very many places. Do I need the Canon adapter for the Olympus B-300?

You will need a lensmate, most favorite of G1 owners, and a 49-55 step up ring to attach the B-300 oly. This is the combo that I have which I am very statisfied with. There are some others tele's that will fit and others that will be on the market in the near future.

Heres the address for you if you want to look at it.

lensmateonline.com

Good luck and happy shooting.

'lo there,

just caught a used Olympus A-200 1,5x tele lens, which natively fits onto 49mm lensmate (needs a spacer though...).

For the usual second-hand pricing of that underdog tele for the G1 ($15 - $20) you can't get more ;)
Try your local stores (the A-200 was originally made for the Olympus IS series).

Shows vignetting 'til half of the zoomway in that setup though. With the Canon adaptor there should be less vignetting (valid for the B-300 as well).

Just another idea, depends on what you wanna use the tele lens for.

Bye,

CaB

i got the tiffen kit fro dcprodirect and so far so good... comes with a tiffen 2x tele and a wide lens as well as a step down ring that fits perfectly on a lensmate... the whole kit was around $140... not a bad deal...

came in nicely packed to, which is a very nice added touch... free carry bag, and each lens has it's own leather pouch...

tiffen will have it's own tube out soon, will probably get it as a back up to lensmate...
