I cycled to the racecourse near the close of the meeting last evening
(the St Leger 2006 )

I agree with you about the creeper behind being a bit distracting
( I think it is cotoneaster . I have it growing in the back garden and this looks very like it)

it was a lovely setting in reality

the ladies friends may have been collecting their winnings

Lovely shots Marie. I love the conflicting dress between the 2 one is dressed for a hot summer day and the other looks more dressed for fall. Love the photos.
