It's been awhile since i had used my nifty-fifty (or thrifty-fifty however you call it ;)) so i thought i would take it along. I was also trying to get familiar with my flash and thought today would be a good day to practice some fill flash. I know that the time of the day wouldn't be perfect for portrait style shots but i tried my best. Little to no PP please C&C i want to learn!

Nice pictures. There are a couple that stand out. On a couple of the others, be careful of uneven lighting on the face. Well, there's modeling lighting which gives dimension to the face and then there's just lighting which isn't really very flattering.

I really like the close up head shots, it shows more detail and is eye catching. I think you did great with the lighting.
