To me 24-70 is great but I liked the range better with the 24-105. The difference between f2.8 and f4 was not large enough ( 1 bump up on ISO or a little pp can change that) . The 17-70 may also work if indoor/tighter spots are encountered. 1DX , 7D,16-35, 24-70 2.8II, 2.8L II, , 70-200 f2.8LII IS, 300 f2.8L IS, 500 f4 IS, 100-400L, Canon 100 2.8 macro, Canon 1.4X, 580ex, AB800X4
