You caught a lot of detail just by candlelight, Dave. I like the expresssion on her face. Sounds like an interesting event.

Thanks for looking and commenting. It was fun with the grandkids along. They couldn't believe that children had to study by this type of lighting.

incendy - holding still on my part was only half the battle. Getting the subjects to hold still was near impossible. I have stacks of blurry photos to prove that the two situations seldom came together.

Thanks again for all the feedback. This lighting just fascinates me (and frustrates me too). Have to try it under controlled conditions.
