Yeah, at least it was that one, not the 70-200! I tried snapping it back together, but i'm gonna be a little more forceful somtime tonight. guess I can't to anymore damage, right?

and Ed, I was almost as distraught about the red bull as I was about the lens, it was the only one in my cooler, and I was out from 9:15-5

Given their build quality... who knows, Canon might never notice!

It's a nifty piece of glass (pardon the pun).. it's the cheap plastic all around it I find uninspiring.

Look at it from another angle ... 80$ is not too much for a cool post-modern paperweight and a nice loupe :wink:
