I got out early today (read before work) and found a large group of Plovers and Least Sandpipers working a small secluded beach (no dogs) - they let me get close - 100-400 at 400mm, 1.8m focus range, f8 at 1/500, iso 400 30d , spot meter and center focus - manual, single shot - on the BushHawk - C/C encouraged - Bob

Hi Bob,
very nice, sharp and well exposed, good angle, the sand on his beak adds a lot to the shot.
Regards,
Clare
