I was walking through Central Park yesterday and came upon these scenes at the East end near 90th. There was a huge crowd there calling attention to the genocide in Darfur (hence the UN blue berets). When I came upon them, the baby was smiling, but once I whipped out the camera... he was all business...

The second picture i captured while on the move (not bad IS considering we were on a bumpy path and I needed to keep up to keep the focus ok)

I just got my new powershot s3 5 days ago and really want to learn as much as possible so any and all comments and suggestions are welcome. I apologize for the size. I need to get better software to be able to resize correctly.

Thanks

Thanks for the welcome... here's the second one in B&W. I don't know if i like it any better in B&W. If you think it does, let me know why.

Thanks again...
