The lighting and exposures are off quite a bit! She is still cute though:)

The lighting looks kind of harsh too, but I am guessing that is because the WB and exposures were off. Did you use any sort of diffusion?


Canon 5d with 35mm 1.4L, 24-70mm 2.8L and 135mm 2.0L

she had a soft box to her right but i got to college and the other soft boxes were missing and the light meter was alien so i had a hard time!

I am trying to learn to use lighting too and it is difficult. I can't imagine trying without a light meter. Just keep practicing though and take advantage of all the studio time you can! I am jealous, never been in a real studio before

it was a huge nightmare! i shall try again when my tutor is there to help :)

I am not a pro but I think #2 is particularly nice. I think you have done well under stressful circumstances as you managed to get the girl smile very nicely.

With what i had to work with i got OK results. nothing spectacular but you know what her mum just told me she thinks she looks adorable so i guess thats what matters eh!
