Introduction of me. Hello Everyone!

Hello board!
I'm Roscoedawg. Been lurking for about two months, ever since I chose the G2 as my first ever digital still camera. I've been gleaning lots of tips from all of you, and I am excited to join your d-community.

I am new to photography. My only experience is with a Canon SureShot (point and shoot) and a Canon Elura digital camcorder. I have an iMac that I will be using for my digital processing. I plan on locating and taking a photography (hopefully digital) course to enhance my digital experience.

Just received my new G2 with IBM 1G Microdrive, and am in the process of shopping for accessories. I will post topic specific questions and comments as they arrise.

I ask for your patience and understanding given my experience.

Hey There Roscoedawg ,

I too am a newbie to the whole photography thing, but am absolutely having the time of my life with the g2.

The only real camera I ever had was my dad's leica, which I broke and it was too epensive to repair. After that I had various point and shooters.

The g2 has suddenly given me the freedom to shoot a bazillion pictures trying a million different things and not having to worry about wasting film and money. In the end I just try and shoot way to many pictures and hope that some of them are really good ones!

Everyone here is super nice and helpful. Anyways welcome to the boards.
