yes , but no two daughers are alike and yours is so pretty and nicely photographed. It looks to me like natural light , so you have done very well ?

Thanks David! :D
Yes, natural light on Sunday morning.
There is a very large window in my bedroom, and I have found out that it works much better, and it requires much less effort, the using multiple flashes and umbrellas.

whats the lens, im guessing around 80mm ? the only thing i see is having to open it up slightly with low DOF as a result , which works well in the first but not in the second imho. I think a little fill flash on the second might have gone a long way. looking at your gear list you have a camera ( like me ) without bulit in flash . Thats the nice thing about the 350d , you can just pop it up for that bit extra..

I like the first shot, but it looks to suffer from just a tad bit of motion blur to me.

You are almost right: it's the 50mm 1.8, which, on a 20D, becomes around 80mm.
About the images being a little bit oof, I have lately found that, when taking shots wide open, the outfocus is not really precise. After these pics i have done some tests, comparing autofocus and manual focus, and I have decided that, in future, I will always focus manually at 2.5 or below.
About your comment on the flash, here you are wrong: the 20D has built in flash!;)

Thanks! It'is today a typical Italian name, but it comes from a Germanic name, which means: "brave warrior" :)

yes, maybe motion blur too. It's impossible to make her still even 1/50 of sec... :)
