Well yesterday,s paper said it was rare to see one in the UK as there in France .
anyway decided to try and get it and i did :)
yes the sky is blown but it was into the sun and nothing i could do about that :(
ground shot 1dmk2 500f4isL +2Xtc 1/125sec f8 iso 200
flying same gear 1/250sec f8 iso 200
both monopod

Funny to hear they are rare somewhere. I have seeen a few here in TN.. When I go to Florida they are all over the place.

The title grabbed me also as like some others have said we also have them quite commonly around where I am too. But I would be excited to see one in the same circumstances as you and to get captures like these, wonderful to say the least and quite lucky too. Add the fact they're taken @1000mm also, great stuff Rob, well done
