a friend just lend me a Sigma fisheye 2.8 for a couple a days... i tried on my 20D and it doesnt work gave me a error 99 on the screen...
The lens is damage? or

baybud Senior Member 419 posts Joined Feb 2006 More info | according to alot i have read error 99 codes are supposedly mroe likely to happen with a non canon lens, however i only use canon lens and i still get it from time to time, the suggestion to clean the contacts is a superb one, when i was riddled with this problem last year i gave it a good clean "using a pencil erazor" it worked fine for many months, i may need to do mine again .
