I like the light on the face and the pose. It was not posed and amazingly enough, the subject didn't see me.
Do you find it works or not?

I have to agree with the above quote. I, too, think it has too many distracting elements in it. It's hard to notice the young lady when the eyes are drawn to so many other things such as the box, the book bag on the table, the stuff under her legs, and to a small degree the electrical box behind her head.
