I thought I would throw this out and see what you guys think, I was inspired to learn some new stuff from an amazing artist named Joey Lawrence. The kid is 16 and does some neat stuff.

I would suspect some like this and some won't......from an artist standpoint there are several things I'm trying to get accross...I'd be curious your thoughts.

Here is the pic I started with...honestly I don't remember the post I did on this one but it was not much.

I really like it as well! I would love to see the unedited version though too, the whole idea is awesome

This was from the second shoot, I posted them a month or so ago.

Thanks everyone....just trying to learn some new tools and I think this shot was a good one to try it on.

Sure,

First thing I did was balance out the shadows and hightlights....

I did the highlight shadow tool - 50% on Shadow on I think 0% on highlight...

Then I used the draganizer plugin....it takes doing a bunch of playing around with this to get the look you want...if you read the prompts in the action if gives you some ideas......it took me a couple of times and a couple hours to do it.

When I finished I then used the liquefy filter to rearrange the background.

I hope this helps...I also hope other "artist" will do more to share how they do things. I want to say thanks to Rene Damkot as he pointed me in the right direction.

I play tennis each Thursday night with Greg (the priest), I think I'm gonna have this printed tomorrow and give him a copy.

Love it!! I remember the first series and this is possibly the best "take" on the theme. To me, it conveys the spiritual feel without the sometimes cheesy look that these kinds of images can fall into. I would think he will love the print. Well done. Thanks. -Graham-
