Just picked up a 24-70!

I bought it last night at Samy's. Got a good deal and they covered the Tax :)

I bought it as a replacement form my Tamron 28-75. I just felt the need to move to Pro lenses since I'm picking up more "pro" work.

I didn't realize how big this lens is. When I put it on My Mark II it looks kind of ridiculous! haha. I'll shoot some pics tonight to try it out. I hope it goes well!

I love this lens and always have. I don't think I will ever have to part with it. You will get use to the weight...it's not that bad. I am still trying to get use to the heavy 70-200L f2.8 tank...it's a real beast! Enjoy!

hehe, I think they were using that lens on Top Model last night! I agree it is huge, but they had some monsterous ring flash on the end as well! Can you imagine that beast with a full size right flash mounted on it:) Talk about a workout

It's a big combo with the hood and everything on - but it's just so nice to use, IMO.
