Oh, I forgot the i9900. That was part of it, too. She didn't pick those things out..just opened a dell account for $6k and said "have fun, honey. Happy birthday". ;-)a

:D :D :D
Sorry for a little linguini digression here:
Many Italian families effectively constitute a prison of love.
A major expresion of familial endearment is "va fa un c**o."
"Cretinello" is yet another pet name used on occasion to describe that particularly special child of ours.;)

 My grandfather used to always say two things. "Va fa napole" and "mannagge le america" don't know about the spelling on the second one. I speak it..I don't write it. ;-)a

Yes, that is close enough, too graphic perhaps, but close.....I really meant something for doing myself in, no agression towards others by any means.

Well, we better get this thread back on track before Ronaldo and Baybud take it totally into the weeds.;)

In sum, the 24L is a gem, and I do not care what LL wrote about it.

Thanks for all the input boys and girls, if nothing else you've stopped me from just walking in and laying down the cash next week. Since it is samy's camera that the lense is at and they do rent equipment I'm going to head over there tomorrow or Saturday and take this lense out for a day and see how it actually does. The reason I'm looking at a 24 m.M. is the 20 D. since it's a 1.6 crop the 25 M.M. is roughly 38 M.M. and thats what I'm looking for.
I may get into a 5D in the next year and if I do I'll get a 35 M.M. lense to keep that feild of view while keeping the 24 M.M. for the 20 D but that camera bag's going to get heavy big time! See ya!

EOS 20D, EOS 5-D MK2, 50 MM 1.4, 24-70 MM 2.8 L, 17-40 M.M. F4 L, 70-200 F4L, 300 F4 L IS, 580 EX, 430 EX, Hensel Integra Pro Plus 500 W.S. X 3, ST-E2 Transmitter, BG-E2 Grip, Epson R1800 Printer and a credit card that has a nervous twitch
