Looking to try something like this...

What's the easiest way to cast a shadow on your subject like this??

Next to a window, no flash, and let the natural light come in, and play with manual mode adjusting the exposure to suit.

yeah I have a model that's wanting to do this...
the problem is my house has those dark UV screens on them that block a lot of light.... not to mention the two 30' trees in the yard.
Normally I like the "no light" through the windows but now I need it!

Like mentioned you just need to find a window, or in the studio use a gobo.

Black electrical tape on window at night and use car headlights pointed toward the window at an angle and place a folded sheet to diffuse the light to your liking.

It wouldn't be to hard to take a flattened cardboard box and cut a window frame out of it. Hang it between the studio strobe and the model.
