Natural light portrait of my cousin

I tried to change the color tone of her shirt a bit because she was wearing bright pink and it just overpowered the image and also added a little noise because everything seemed too smooth from the soft evening light. Can you tell very easily about the shirt? Does it look ok? I am thinking of having this one printed for her mom, but am not sure if I am the only one that likes it

I like it. Think it would be pretty hard to get a bad picture of such a beautiful girl.

Both of them are very nice. I kind of like the second one best. I think it's the carity of it.

I like the second one also. Has the whole "rule of thirds" thing going, along with subject isolation.

I really like the first one. The second one is nice too, but I feel that the focus fell on the wall beside her head and her head appears out of focus. Please correct me if this was actually what you intended though!

I found distracting the 'in and out of focus' wall right behind her head
the wall could be cropped on the right side of the second picture, it may help ,if you think so yourself and want that
they are lovely shots for her mam to have

I prefer the first one of her, but would rather the wall had been all in focus or all out of focus
in the second shot the arm makes her body appearance look slightly distorted
but still, it's ok

have you tried plain black and white for the shots
may be nice

I agree on the focus in the first one, I'd like to see what it looked like out of the camera. It looks like you tried to create extra blur on the wall behind her, it seems over cooked.

I like the 2nd one best... I'm sure her mom would love them both...

no extra blur at all, this was shot with the 135 at 2.0. Next time I should open the ISO up especially being I added noise to this one, but that will just have to be a lesson learned on this one Thank you for the suggestions and encouragement! I really appreciate it! I think I will print the top one for her mom, or maybe both and she can choose. I will make her feel pressured=D

Both shots are good. I would prefer the first because it has a better view of her face. In any event, she makes a great subject.
