Seven hours since you posted this and NO ONE has responded??

My first thought was "WOW!" when I saw this, Les. The color contrasts are VERY nice, especially with the deep blue in the water contrasting with the green plant life.

And then the land reflection on the left...I like the sweeping feeling and almost plastic look the reflection creates. One thing that's bothering my eye just a touch, however: the water line in the center seems just a touch unlevel. Am I imagining that?

Were you standing in the water for this?

Like always, excellent work. Very nice, indeed.

I don't have anything against Nikon cameras, just the people who use them.

Oh, I agree. :D

Now, why aren't more people inspired to say something about this photo? The blues are BRILLIANT!

Les, the reflections left of centre really catch my eye along with the deep blue of the sky reflected in the water. This is a very nice capture.

I'm inspired to sell my camera equipment after viewing shots like this, how's that? ;) I might as well be shooting with throw away 35mm cameras. ;)

But seriously, this is another fantastic shot Les. I think that perhaps the low replies might be due to folks running out of ways to express how talented you really are. I know that I've probably repeated myself more than once. Perhaps a thesaurus is in order. ;) :D

Thanks Robert, that's a lovely complement, and very much appreciated.

Cheers

Not sure, it ws a difficult call, as the two banks gradually narrow into a river?

I used a spirit level on my camera, but it could be out ??

Cheers

Absolutely superb :) Doesn't look unlevel, the banks obviously sweep towards the camera in an arc.

Perfect - is all I can say!

Lovely shot Les, I can recommend this area to anyone, Glen Coe is in my opinion the most beautiful place in the UK. I spent a weeks holiday here in May this year in a log cabin, and the weather never got anywhere near the stunning conditions you had, rain, rain & more Scottish rain.... Well done.
