I don't know if I remember all the steps, but to start I made a new layer and set the blending mode to Soft Light and used a light skin tone color to paint over her skin to make her stand out more. Next I converted the image to sepia by making it black and white and then photo filter sepia. Here I added a little dodge to her eyes. I set the dodge tool to about 30% and make the brush about 6px. Dodge just a tad on each side of her iris but don't brush, just a dot or two and then once go around the actual iris to bring out the light in the eyes. Once this was done I merged it all I did an auto color in ps just to see what it did and I really liked the tones it brought out so I went with it. These are just some idea though, with this image the possibilites are endless! It really is amazing. Great work

oh, I forgot but once it was sepia I used the oval mask tool to select her head down to the shirt and then inverted it and made a new layer from copy and then did a gaussion blur with setting almost to max and played around with the blending modes. I can't remember the mode I actually ended up with, but it looks like I did a screen

Minor work in levels and getting rid of bright spots.
