Cool idea!! I might use a gaussian blur around the edges to make it more fog-like. See if you like this.

Here is the original. I like it, but feel it need the fade to tell the story

I like the effect on the first one. After seeing all the pictures you have posted recently, it tells me that you have a pretty creative mind. I have been enjoying them.

The originals lighting is spot on IMHO. Care to share your setup?

Thank you Art!

The lighting setup for this shot is one 520ex and one 420ex. The 520 I used with a shoot thru umbrella in front of her to the right pretty far, probably like a 90 degree angle. Then the 420 was on the opposite side shooting directly into an umbrella but further away. To tell you the truth, I didn't really know how to use the flashes yet, cause I should have used ratio instead of distance for the 420 which is why the lighting might be a little flat on most of my shots from this shoot. Lighting is so new to me still.. so much to learn

Thanks for the info incendy. Like I said, the lighting in the original looks good. Thought you might have been using some ABee's.

Great shot although I don't care for the "fog" effect.

Great shot! Stay with the first blur - it has diary thought written all over it.

yes, i prefer the no-fog as well, or maybe less fog, but either way it is great
