The colors of the bird and surroundings make this shot and of course the warbler. I had one in my site but was only able to get the perch he was standing on...moving.....moving....moving.... Great spped in capturing this one and great sharpness to boot. You may never post one of these warblers again on this forum Thanks Marc .......hmmm....what am I going to do with all these extra Parula shots? dancad Glad you got to see one too, Gary. Aren't they just wonderful? Beautiful shots, with the third being my favorite with a perfect view of its "necklace" (hence its french name). Beautiful birds indeed Dan and I consider myself quite fortunate in this case. I was surprised at how colorful this bird is this time of year. So the French name is Collier I take it. Merci! Gary Fairhead C/C welcome .....

A first time view for me of the Northern Parula. What a cute and beautiful bird, photographed well in glorious colour and detail with perfect lighting and pose of the bird all complete with a natural environment, it's magic, well done.
