I currently building me a studio that is 10'x22'. The staging area will be 8'x8' off cam flashes for lighting. I want to know what would be a good lens for this size of working space and for outdoor portraits. I have a budget of $400.00 us currency for the lens. Thanks in advance.

50mm f/1.4 maybe for headshots and waist up. Something wider for full length portraits though. You can use anything outdoors.
