A little too hot around the head. In hindsight I should have dialed in - 1/3 or -1/2 stop compensation.

The head is a little hot but still a very good shot. It looks like near mid day sun. I like the shadow accross the eye.

Nice pose in this shot Paul. You've already mentioned the slight overexposure. I might have left a touch more space about his head in this shot. IMHO the bird look a little cramped in this posting.

The background in this shot looks gorgeous Paul and it's the perfect colour for the white gull, nice one, well done.
