Here's one from a trip to Mount Rainier this summer. Taken near Narada Falls.

Nice capture.

However, I have a question, what happened to the branch? On my monitor something with the branch is off. What PP did you do? The grays seem odd.

Again, it's a great capture, just not sure about the branch.

The branch looks OK on my Mac ... it did get lighter as a result of dropping the image down in size to meet posting limitations.

Turbowolf, you got some nice shots today.

Nice image but the colours do look off. Was the image saved in sRGB colourspace before the upload? That may explain the colour shift after the downsizing

Not all were from today. I'm catching up on not having access to upload for most of the summer. I can upload from the field, but it is done using a bluetooth cellphone and takes forever.

The Jay and Clark's nutcracker were from Yesterday on Mt. Rainier. I do shoot close to home .... sometimes!

The Moose and deer in the wildlife section were from August in Montana. I went "home" to the family property to pour a foundation for my future cabin.

ARGH!!! That's it. I had the good old Rebel set for Parameter 1, not Abobe RGB. I then processed the image as if it was from my 20D, which is set for Adobe RGB.

That's what I get for playing around with the old stuff and not checking its set-up after a long time of no use. Does this look any better?

I knew there was something. Not knowledgable enough to have been able to pinpoint it to that, but the branch is MUCH improved as is the removal of the reddish ring around the eye.

Wonderful shot Dave. The revised version is spot on.

Repost looks much better. Thepurple around the eye didn't look too natural. The twig in front of its face would be very easy to clone out... Great colours!

The repost is one beautiful image and Dan's suggestion is a good one. Beautiful bird captured beautifully.
