snail Kite male this time, 4 pics

This species ocuurs from Florida to South America, I shot this one in Brazil, they are common in the Pantanal (swamp). There are some big snails there as well. 400mm, f5.6, 1/800, iso400. Wish these were a bit sharper.

Very nice series here Paul of a bird I do not recall seeing before. The first shot really grabs me for the eyes and the pose where it appears to be calling. Nice!
