A friend has asked me photography her daughter tomorrow and the little girl wears glasses. I'm afraid all I'll see will be the softbox on the lens of her glasses... what should / how should I shot the pictures???
As always THANKS for all your help.
Wm.
There are several ways of addressing this issue and no two will work everytime...
1. Remove the lens from the frames. Empty frames work best.
2. Raise the back of the lenses ear piece so that they point down somewhat.
3.Raise / lower /move the lights
4. Have the person tilt/ turn/lower/raise their head until the reflection is minimized..
5. Use a dulling spray, hair spray works sometimes too and comes off easily with alcohol. DO NOT USE THIS ANYWHERE NEAR HOT LAMPS!!!
6. Have them remove the glasses and use them as a hand prop
I hope this helps
