Hi all

Here is a shot of a Golden Plover. A beautiful bird that is much loved here in Iceland. It is usually one of the first migratory birds to arrive and has been called the herald of spring for centuries. Please feel free to comment (C&C).

Beautiful! I like the subtle hints of purple/pink in the BG. Great pose with a wonderful view of the speckled back.

Great shot... The bokeh looks a little odd, I find it slightly distracting as it doesn't seem to be as smooth as usual.. not that you can really change that :) I like it :)

Very nice shot. I love how he is looking back as if asking if you got all the shots you needed. Good job.

it is a stunning shot no doult about it i love the pose and super sharp too, i think the BG Bokeh is a little harsh this not a critque of the shot, i think its just the lens and the muti colored BG not working togather to well.

Beautiful capture Sindri and this bird looks so elegant. I love the pattern on this bird and your shot has brought out the intricate details of the feathers, nice one, well done.
