Hi,
Still learning my way around my new 20D and loving it! Here are my son's friends. Nice to have a subject other than my own - easier to be objective.
Thanks for looking. C&C welcome. ( 50mm 1.8 used)

The first one is awesome and the second is a little out of focus. It takes a while to really get comfortable with the autofocus on the 20D especially at slower speeds.

I agree with above poster. The second one would be wonderful if it was in focus, because the composition on it is perfect!

Very good shots. As the others have said, the second is slightly out of focus, but I am sure that the child's parents will love it. The first is awesome. Now if you can get her to pose again and smile, that would be even better.

Hehe.

Awesome shots mate, despite the focus issue mentioned you seem to have a natural eye for composition, well done!

Thanks for all the comments. Really helpful and much appreciated...honestly I didn't notice the focus issues, so thanks!! I used the 50mm 1.8 on both of these.
That girl never smiles in front a camera! I have learned to just accept it.

lol

Interesting that you used the 50mm 1.8, I've had focussing issues with this lens myself and put it down to user incompetence. May be time to look at the new 50mm 1.2/L

I really like the lighting in the first shot. You really need to post more. I know you have been taking pictures like crazy :D
