...hardly working?

IMAGE: http://www.jeece.net/photo/IMG_3893.jpg

What else to do between calls? A well-deserved rest. But I think it doesn't show much professionalism.

Picture shot in a touristic "village", up North in Québec. Some may recognize the place by the color of the buildings. ;)

Funny thing is, when we were driving home, about half an hour later, we drove by a similar scene further down the road... Probably the same ambulance.

Ahh, getting paid to put your feet up.. beautiful :) Of course, I suspect the paramaniacs earn their dough when the going gets busy :)

Nice capture :)

I guess it's a job where you at times are working hard, and other times hardly working :D nice capture.

As a paramedic, I take every opportunity to rest that I can. I do my best not to do it on a street corner with my feet hanging out the door but at least they weren't needed at that time. And yes, we do work hard when the call goes out.

As for the picture though, I like it. I just wish they didn't make us all look lazy.

Take care.

I agree with Chris, you should rest whenever you can. In this sense this picture is very positive,
