Took about twenty shots of this lighthouse at different angles and I think this one is probable the better out of the bunch.
As you can see it looks like it's going to pour rain and it did, right after I hit the remote switch. Needless to say I was stuffing camera gear in the back pack pretty darn quick.

Two images with two different exposures from one RAW, PP then flattened and sharpened.

Thanks for looking.

This is really nice fran, however the building to the right is slightly distracting, maybe a tighter crop?

That my friend is a beautiful photo. Looks like HDR on my monitor.

Wow! This is awesome. I love the color, composition, mood. I especially like the wooden walkway leading you into the image. Great job. I would be willing to risk getting my equipment a little (just a little) wet to get this shot.

That is an exceptional shot, Frank. Looks like the new lighthouse at Cape Spear, taken from the walkway/stairs that lead to the old lighthouse. Way to go, my friend.

Just to echo what others have already said, great shot Buddy

I just love the mood the falling light produces just before a rain storm, you've captured that well :)

Another stunning shot Frank. Perfect lead in on the bottom left and, man, you couldn't ask for a better sky. It has sort of a 3-D feel to it too. Really a great job!

What stands out for me is the horizon, it absolutely glows, which gives a nice warm feel to the image, even though you have that angry sky, and yes, you need to get rid of that building on the right. :)

Good work.

WOW very dramatic.

Agree about cropping some off of the right tho.

Other than that  .

+1 for cropping out that building, but an awesome shot nonetheless.

What a foreboding sky!
