PHOTOKINA in Cologne, anyone?

Hi,

just wanted to ask whether any of you are going to see Photokina this year (starts tomorrow in Cologne, and AFAIK is among the world's largest photographic exhibitions).

As I currently work in Cologne and my hotel is about a 5 minutes walk away from the fair center, I certainly hope that I will find the time to go there at least once. Everything else would be a shame.

Though Köln is not that far from here (2 h driving), I am not going to make it this year. But have fun and keep us up-to-date if you hear anything "unofficial" (though I think that chance is small).

Hmmm...

just realized the entrance fee is 25 EUR ... while not extremely much for an interesting fair, this is certainly a bit steep for the 2 hours I could possibly squeeze in if I left work really early (closes at 18:00 every day )

I'll be going there tomorrow for a look round.

Tickets cost 21€ if ordered in advance, or 16€ for a ticket for Saturday or Sunday on the door (12€ in advance), so that would be your best bet if you have time at the weekend Andy.

Hmm, just checked the website, you can't buy advance tickets anymore, so only door price is available.
