In the Friday night lights thread I mentioned I had another game to shoot on Saturday, here a few shots from that game. Weather looked like it was going to rain any minute, I had my rain suit on and the storm jacket on the camera but luckily it never did. I wish all sports were played with this much light. C&C always welcome and appreciated. EXIF is embedded. I graduated from the school wearing the blue uniforms 20+ years ago and this was their homecoming game, so it was fun going back to shoot this game.

Nice shots! I really like the 5th one.

I need to get to a day game, it'd be nice to work with a lot of light for a change.

Thanks for looking!

Chris,
Like I said before..... Really nothing special...... I mean if you take away the super sharp focus, fantastic color, nice stop action exposure, the ability to see eyes of the runner in number three.... then all you have are snap shots..... that is, if you take all that away.

Nice shots... wish I had some gigs like that.

Thanks Calico and Crashoran. Congrats on the 1D, it's a beast of a camera.

Chris,

Photos look great.
How extensive of a crop did you do on these photos?
Just wondering.

Thanks Oceanview, they were all cropped some but not a whole lot. They were shot with a 300 L on a 1.3 crop body and I was on the sidelines.
