If it weren't for the effect I would agree that the eyes are overdone, but in this situation it works perfectly. Very cool.

Thanks 52k! The size and portablitily of the 430 and 580 is the same, but you get more functionality with the 580! More power and the ability to use it as a master if you ever get another flash! Of course the cost is quite a bit more too though, but IMO it is worth it

Thanks incendy, I'll have a look at the 580 then. Sounds like it might be a better bet after all.
