Sigma has now a 135-400 APO ZOOM
looks to be an EX series as well

It's been around a while. Maybe they are just now making it to fit Olympus' four thirds system.

Yes, this is a very old very "middle of the road" Sigma design, no HSM, and not an EX by a long shot.
What is new is the addition of a 4/3rds format mount, and the addition to the leters "D" and "G" to the name :lol:

I had the original 135-400 and for a lens that cost less than a third of the price of my 100-400L it was ok...

The DG version has been out around 6 months so the only news here is the 4/3rds version.

This isn't the lens you're looking for, move long, move along :D

Yeah mine was "ok" as well. The focus speed on those 135-400s is CRIMINALLY slow though.

Image quality was ok on mine though.

If they did an EX HSM version for £600 or something, that would be worth investigating.

I bought mine for £299. Used it for 8 months, put in on Ebay and sold it for £225. Was on there for all of 15 minutes as well LMAO. Mugs. err
