Congratulations! I know just how you feel: I had twin boys at the weekend. One at 4lb 15oz and one at 2lb 9oz. They're both in Special Care: I'm making maximum use of the wide aperture on my 50mm!

congrat's to you too.........too......... ;)

I had four preemies. The first two each weighed about 3 1/2 pounds each. One dropped to 2lbs 2 oz, the other to 3lbs. The other two weren't *as* small, but still small. It's funny now because I watched ER the other night and Sally Field said something to her onscreen daughter that I said 25 and 28 years ago. It was to the effect of, that baby needs to believe that you believe everything will be okay. In my first son's case, doctors say it's the only reason he lived at all. He was very sick. They gave him until morning to live the day he was born. He turned 28 in August.

Wife came home today. Wee man is going to be in for at least another 6 weeks. Things getting better though. Wife sat here with me now, she is overwhelmed by the kindness you guys have shown and has asked me to thank you all again on her behalf.
One of the many things that has knocked me off my feet is how you view things, that once were considered important, to now be irrelevent. I'm a normal, working 'nuts and bolts' kinda guy. But his whole experience has humbled me and mushed up my innards big time. Its amazing.
Was able to hold my son for the first time last night.
I won't keep bumping the thread with thank you's, I'll just say now we appreciate all the comments.
Your'e a great bunch of people. :)
