I cannot help, but to show her off. ;)

Both shot with 300D, 580EX Speedlight, and Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 EX HSM DG at teh Birmingham, AL Botanical Gardens. The images lost a good bit of detail and saturation when I saved for web.

1st image: (A little soft due to slow shutter speed, but I love the pose!)
F/2.8
1/45 sec.
ISO 100
@ 200mm

2nd image: (My favorite in the series.)
F/2.8
1/200 sec.
ISO 100
@ 126mm

Yes, her eyes are what captivate me. :) I think I am in love. LOL!

Yes, the first one is off due to camera shake. Silly me! I think I can hold it steady at 200mm with 1/45 second shutter speeds. LOL!

True, thus why it really did not make the cut, but stayed in my personal files. I just love the pose. :)

She looks very comfortable in front of the camera, lucky you!

I agree that the first is too out of focus, but in the current vanity fair there is an out of focus picture of Tom Cruise's new little one with about the same shake going on. So, you never know... Good job with these. You should keep showing off!

I am lucky! She is so fun because she really hams it up! I wish I could post more images in this post, but there are new posting guidelines... Out of the 60 we took, I kept 45. The ones that were "printers" were about 35.

I am going to see if I can attach a couple more...

Oh I do! ;) She had been wanting me to do a session with her. She REALLY loves to be infront of the camera. So, this was her special day. :) This past weekend we went to another park and I was showing her the basics of my camera. She is soo amazing. She had so much fun. I think I am going to buy her a MACRO lens and give her my 300D when I get a 30D. Girls and flowers you know...
