WOW, i can see clearly that Sigma is something else, not less than canon.

just sell the stuff you use the least. if you bearly use a lens, it should be the first on your list. no need to ask people which they think are bad lenses, just go by how much you need something.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

i am sure you will enjoy the sigma just as much as he does. on a side note, the guy is an amazing photographer and you should see his macro work, it is outstanding to say the least...

I'm waiting to get on a plane to get back to FL. I have been in PA past 4 days. I stopped at the canon service center in NJ Friday to have them clean the dust off the 5d.
Service tech asked me what else I had in my camera bag- I said 3 lenes-24-105, 70-200, & 100-400, so he said well lets clean those too.- Ok, 1 hour later everything like brand new! Very nice people at the service center! All at no charge.
Tommarrow the new 300mm 2.8 will be here & mounted on my clean 5d- Can't wait!
Those pictures are awesome blonde!

Here are a couple of shots with the Sigma 300mm f/2.8- both without any PP
PRO so far-sharp & fast focus CON- No IS & heavy- How do these pictures look to you? I plan on taking the lens to the beach or zoo with tripod or monopod tommarrow. If I'm not happy with results, back it goes & time to save a little more money for the canon version. These were taken in the parking lot 10 min. after I got it. I'm sure I'll get more interesting pictures Thrusday.
