We are having a shoot this weekend and I was testing the lights today at the studio so, to see what would be the best setup for this session. While my daughter was sitting in the chair I decided to test a photo with her in it. Here is where I need help...I have an iMAC computer and my wife has winXP...when I send her the photo it looks all off. I think maybe she needs a new monitor and video card...as I said I think. So, can those with windows computer tell me if the colors are fine or not on your computer so I don't have to worry before the shoot.

With my Windows XP and flat screen the image colors look fine. The whites of her eyes appear a tad bluish-gray but that is normal for her age. The white of her jacket hood (fluff) is a perfect white like it should be. Everything else looks great too.

The colors look good to me also. Just wanted to comment that even when you take a test shot they still come out looking good.

Looks fine on my Toshiba notebook. Consider putting "Huey" on her monitor to calibrate it. Google can find you a supplier.

I just calibrated my monitors and the image looks fine. Monitor calibrators are the way to go!

I'm at work, my pc is newish, it's got a really cheap and nasty 19" monitor, its not calibrated and it looks really good.

Have you tried calibrating her monitor?
