Black Kite.

This is the Black Kite that the Healesville Sanctuary have in their Birds of Prey show.

During this part of the show the keeper noticed high above us a wild Wedge-tailed Eagle was watching the show. It then started making a series of swoops and rises, displaying it's territory. It was a fascinating and impromptu part of the show.

This bird is in so much better condition to the wild scavenging Black Kites that hang around the meat market in Bangalore. These are excellent pictures.
