Hi there,

I'm taking a trip to the Sunshine State (Sarasota/Bradenton area) and I am looking to purchase the Sigma 70-200 F2.8 whilst on holiday.

I have a few very basic questions, not about the lens itself, but more to do with where to buy the lens and how much to expect to pay.

I've done some online searches, the majority throwing the Wal-Mart site back at me.. ..very helpful!

Can you recommend a good chain of Camera Stores in the US, that I could look for whilst out there?

i.e. We have a Jessops stores throughout the UK, which are normally staffed by knowledgeable staff, it's just the RRP prices they charge that I cannot stomach!

Many thanks,

Taity

The only one that comes to mind is Wolf Camera. It would be ideal to get it ordered from B&H Video or Sigma4less.

Remember to check out the warrenty implications of purchasing abroad.

B&H are based in NY, so I would guess that you would have to travel to NY, unless you know someone who can take a delivery for you.
