New Sigma Lens?

Singmas new 18-200 OS lens

What strike me, it's not a HSM lens. So noisy focus. I bet it will not sell cheap.
Maybe to compete with nikon model. We need to see the distortions at various focal lenght.

With the current non-OS 18-200 going for about $315, I'd think this lens would be near $500, hopefully slightly under that mark.

f/6.3 @ 200mm? Doesn't seem worth it.

Not any more than the Bigma (500mm f6.3). And it doesn't have OS. The new 18-200 OS, even with its detractors, will fill a popular niche for a good many shooters. Looks like a nice lens:
