Hi folks,

Well, here's my first post and a brief introduction.

My wife has been shooting weddings and familes for about five years now, and for the last year-and-a-half, we've been shooting weddings together as husband-wife team. My background is mostly with film, but now I'm having a blast with the exactness and versatality that digital offers. We both love to travel and are always looking for the next photo opportunity.

I've been a lurker for a couple of months now, and because of what I've learned through this forum, and this section specifically, I've gained the confidence to upgrade our lenses. The "L" lenses, of course, have made just an incredible difference in our images.

Thanks to each and every one of you who have taken the time to post your opinions and share your knowledge.

Chris

Thank you all.
One tid-bit I meant to mention was that we had just purchased the Canon 75-300 IS f/4.5-5.6 from B & H, then learned through this forum about the recall. Canon took the lens back, a full refund from Canon is forthcoming, and we purchased the 70-200 IS f/2.8.
If not for this forum, we wouldn't have known about the recall OR the L lenses...
