The 50 1.4 lacks in a lot of areas. Maybe I just had a bad copy but when I look at an image from the 50 on my computer compared to my other lenses they lack contrast and colors by a fairly large margin. In fact in PP with the 50 my setting are completely different than even the 24-70

I really think its only your copy thats giving poor results... I've never heard of anyone else having much to complain about with it.
The 1.4 is a real keeper, go to ebay and there are approximately 0 for sale... I'd keep mine too, if i had one...!
