Hello,

i was curious as to what or where everyone gets their news /rumours in regards to the photography world? Are there any web sites that you like, once you regularly visit because they provide good inside info? Good reviews? and the such?

if so share them with us, i dont have any, one reason why i am asking, but perhaps this could be useful for others as well looking to keep update in the world of photography....

I use DPreview, and of course here. Thats about it, I find having to much information of the net can sometimes lead to to much sorting of false information.
Where as DPreview is reasonably conservative, and usualy makes totaly sure its real before posting something.

So long and thanks for all the flash

I use some of the ones already noted above but I will add a few more.

During the last few weeks I have watched the site for Photokina. The other one that I really like is Lets Go Digital. They have some very nice comparison features when you want to line up the options of different models and/or manufacturers.

EOS Digital Photographers Resource (external link)

On the photography related post processing software I like the NAPP site. Unfortunately this is a paid membership but well worth it for me. I learn allot off of this site as they have some great tutorials.

National Association of Photoshop Professionals (external link)

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

My rumor sources

this site
DPreview of course (should never use as sole source of info)
http://www.bobatkins.com …raphy/digital/rumors.html (external link) (Canon rumors only)
http://www.northlight-images.co.uk/Canon_1DS_MkIII.html (external link) (Also Canon rumors only)
http://www.fredmiranda.com/ (external link)
http://www.openphotographyforums.com/forums/ (external link) (also useful for finding out truth if Canon has released something)

For news only add:
Luminous-Landscapes
Rob Galbraith (no forums, just news)

Just my list of internet sources.

I like DPREVIEW and www.robgalbraith.com (external link) for news. I steer clear of the forums on DPREVIEW, but it does make a good news and review site. Rob Galbraith does a good job with the news and, of course, the CF card performance database.

Have Fun,

Rick
