Well, a week or so into a new contract at a new site, and went to get my bi-hourly caffine fix. They have one of those fancy machines that has a "been hopper" that it grinds up for you and a little fridge next to it with some milk in it.

Anyway, this particular time, it has run out, so the person before me opened the fridge and pulled out the bottle of milk that still had a 10th or so left in it (the milk tube doesn't reach the bottom of the bottle), put in a new full bottle, made his coffee, then transfered the remaining milk from the old bottle into the new one which was once again full.

Thats nice, except that is what he always does, which means that at any given time the bottle is 90% new milk and 10% old milk, the 10% is made up of 90% old milk and 10% older milk, and so on.

Soooo, that means that the milk in the fridge has a porportion of very old milk in it, probably doesn't really matter that much but the thought that it is not entorly fresh doesn't really appeal to me, no matter how diluted it is :-o

You're funny Pete. I would file a grievance or take him out back a teach him a thing or two about old milk. You shouldn't have to put up with that!;)

Explain that, just like his car, if you add five quarts of oil over time - it is not the same as an oil change! :D

what you should do is take a photograph of him doing the dead and send it out via a mass e-mail to everyone :) This way he will be shamed to doing the right thing.

Hmmmm. On any given day, your bottle of milk will consist of the following:

90% fresh milk
9% Old Milk
.9% Really Old Milk.
.09% Primordial Ooze.
.01% Toxic Waste.

I drink my coffe black, although till this moment, I was never sure why.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

There are some things in life that are best taken straight. Coffee is one. Most of the others have a rather more sedative effect. . .;)

simple fix Pete, fill a jug with hot water - put milk hose in water & run until water comes out clear (not into your coffee!)
It's a system they probaby not heard of before called "cleaning" ;-)a

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Yep that is what I did yesterday when I needed a fix, the milk in the fridge had an "interesting" aroma.

Also relabeled the bottle from a best by date to a half life, left that on the bench to make my point :D
