No, I think it was age. It keeps saying memory card error, I can't trust it not to capture a picture. I lost a great picture of a shark that way :(

I do have a fix after reading some forums, where I take the internal battery out(about 11 tiny screws). it worked for a few weeks, but it's about 4 years old, so I replaced it with a real camera :)
