I am going to Boston ,Portsmouth and Portland Maine for 4 days in October, can anyone give me some suggestions on where to get some great fall shots or Historic shots???

By fall shots do you mean colors? When are you going? In maine, many areas (external link) are already at peak and starting to fall from the trees.

Gee, for historic in Boston you could take some shots of the "Big Dig" as an example of the "fleecing of America":D

When you get into Maine, get off of the Turnpike and take US1 and US1A. You will see about 3 weeks worth of stuff to shoot: Kittery, York, York Beach, Ogunquit (Perkins Cove), Wells Beach, Kennebunk, Kennebunk Port, just to name a few places.
